Improving Graduate Students' Writing Skills and Self-Efficacy: A New Approach

Abstract
Many graduate students lack skills needed for effective written communication. Writing is significant factor in anxiety among graduate students. Graduate students report inadequate training and instruction in writing. This presentation shares a newly developed, and empirically supported, approach to writing instruction that improves students’ writing skills, performance, and self-efficacy.
