The Path Not Taken: Distinguishing Individuals Who Share a History of Suicide Attempt

The current study used psychological autopsy methods to assess differences between individuals who shared a history of a suicide attempt across demographic, clinical, hopelessness, and ambivalence variables, as well as factors surrounding time of death and the first suicide attempt. Significant differences were found between suicide and natural death group.
