Mask Mandate Framing: No Evidence of Effects on Reactance, Attitudes

Abstract

The current study sought determine if psychological reactance was aroused by differently framed messages about recent mask mandate policies. The study also sought to determine if message framing affected attitudes towards those policies. No effect of message framing was found.
