Religiosity, Religious Commitment, and Free Will

Abstract
In a study utilizing the Free Will Inventory, religious people tended to more strongly endorse free will and determinism and more weakly endorse libertarianism compared to those with no religion. We argue that although endorsing free will, religious people also believe that the future is determined by God’s will.
