Manipulation Ability, Manipulation Anxiety, Navigation Anxiety and Math Ability Mediate the Relation between Gender and Math Anxiety

Abstract
We examined three types of spatial anxiety and ability (imagery, navigation and manipulation) and math ability as mediators of gender differences in math anxiety. Results suggest that manipulation anxiety and ability, navigation anxiety and math ability are significant mediators but manipulation anxiety is the strongest mediator of this relation.
