The Effects of Attachment Security Priming on Internalized Heterosexism in Gay Men

Abstract

This study examined the association between attachment priming and internalized heterosexism with perceived social support as the mediator. Results indicated that participants primed with attachment security perceived more social support and subsequently, had lower internalized heterosexism than participants in a neutral prime condition.
