Lineup Identification Feedback Does Not Reduce Susceptibility to Misinformation

When people get positive feedback after a lineup identification, their confidence soars—even when they’re wrong. However, we don’t know the extent to which this post-identification feedback affects susceptibility to misinformation. We tested this idea and found that people given positive feedback are not more nor less susceptible to misinformation.
