Abstract
Understanding people’s attitudes toward mask-wearing is important during the COVID-19 pandemic. The newly-created Mask Attitude Survey for COVID-19 (MASC) demonstrated strong internal consistency (alpha = .956), concurrent validity, and divergent validity. Differences were found in mask-attitudes by ethnicity, geographic area, and sexual orientation but not gender, age, or other demographics.
