Abstract

The ability to recall the order of events, or temporal memory, is important in contexts like eyewitness testimony. The present study addressed whether older adults’ temporal memory is predicted by executive function. These findings provide suggestive evidence that older adults' temporal memory depends on the executive functions of shift/inhibition.
