Abstract
Researchers examined associations between perceived pain intensity, emotional distress, and maladaptive coping in fibromyalgia patients. Results indicated marginally significant associations between perceived pain intensity and some maladaptive coping strategies, as well as significant associations between emotional distress on other maladaptive coping strategies (controlling for perceived pain intensity and treatment status).
