Abstract
The current study sought to examine if openness to experience moderates the relationship between childhood maltreatment and adult psychopathy. It was hypothesized increased openness would be associated with less psychopathy. Results found that openness moderates the relationship between childhood maltreatment and adult psychopathy in a protective manner.
