Abstract

We examined the impact of the Infant Behavior Program (IBP) on effortful control (EC) and the moderating role of EC on the effect of IBP on infant behavior problems. Compared to controls, infants receiving the IBP demonstrated greater EC and an enhanced effect on behavior problems with higher baseline EC.
