Abstract

The current study examines if changes due to COVID-19 are related to adolescent stress and tests the protective role of friends among an ethnically diverse sample of adolescents (N=992). Online friend communication and friend support were found to protect adolescents from increased stress stemming from negative COVID-19 changes.
