This study investigated the relationship between breakup distress and experiencing trauma. Trauma Symptom Scale scores were positively correlated with Breakup Distress Scale scores (r = .74, p < .001). A regression analysis will be performed to further determine Trauma Scale scores that can be explained by Breakup Distress Scale scores.
