Abstract
This study examined the influence of gender on self-reported social self-concept and parenting intentions for heterosexual versus non-heterosexual students. Social self-concept and parenting intention scores differed by gender. Social self-concept mediated the influence of gender on parenting intentions for heterosexual students, but not for non-heterosexual students.
