Risk and Conformity: Effects of Risk Domain and Culture

Abstract
The current study used a computer-mediated version of the classical Asch paradigm to investigate conformity with others’ risky opinion.We were interested in risk domain (ethical, health/safety, recreational, social) and culture(UK, Kuwait). participants from both cultures exhibited conformity in all risk domains, but was least strong in the ethical risk domain.
