Do Attitudes Towards Undocumented Immigrants Reflect Differences in Beliefs about the Characteristics of True Americans?

Using latent profile analysis, I plan to examine the extent that attitudes toward undocumented immigrants are predicted by legal status, ethnicity, beliefs about characteristics of true Americans, and strength of American identity, in contexts of ‘no threat,’ and material and symbolic threats.
