450 college students completed questionnaires assessing grit, time perspective, big five personality factors, learning strategies and mindset (fixed vs. growth), as well as demographic information and high school and college GPA. 21% of the variance in growth mindset was attributable to effortful learning strategies, openness and present time perspective.
