Abstract
Mental health was studied longitudinally in women between pregnancies through the postpartum period of the subsequent birth. Early life adversity was associated with depressive, anxiety, and PTSD symptoms between pregnancies and with depressive symptoms years following the second birth, but not depressive symptoms during the subsequent perinatal period.
