Isolated in Social Media: Depression, Anxiety - Can Students Cope?

Social media use and online gaming were associated with increased depression and anxiety for college students and alumni (N = 460). Students’ risk-aversion and fears suggested that while they were anxious, they also believed they had the capacity to manage the risks and challenges they will face in adulthood.
