Acceptability and Preliminary Effectiveness of a Single Session Intervention to Prevent Common Mental Disorders in College Students

Abstract
Research on brief interventions to prevent anxiety and depression among college students is lacking. The present study examined the acceptability and post-intervention effectiveness of a single-session preventive intervention among college students. Results suggested that the intervention was acceptable, effective in promoting adaptive beliefs about mental health, and increased psychological flexibility.
