Abstract

Limited research has investigated factors distinguishing academically at risk very preterm children from those on par with term-born peers. Using neuropsychological assessments and parent questionnaires, we examine cognitive skills, family environments, and school readiness between "ready" and "unready" preterm children and compare these factors between "ready" preterm and term-born children.
