Abstract
The present study explored trait-level depression as a moderator between emotional eating and BMI. I predicted trait-level depression would moderate the relationship between emotional eating and an increased BMI. Results revealed that one’s trait-level depression may be a driving force in the association between BMI and engaging in emotional eating.
