Abstract
We investigated in-group/out-group dynamics based on the brand of one’s smartphone, laptop, or game console. Users of iPhone and Android, Mac and PC, and Xbox and PlayStation all showed significant in-group favoritism. iPhone users scored significantly higher on entitativity and showed significantly stronger in-group favoritism than Android users.
