Abstract
This study examines psychosocial predictors of mental health service utilization among South Asian young adults. Using mixed methods analysis of quantitative survey data and qualitative focus groups discussions, we identify both risk (i.e. stigma and internalization of model minority myth) and protective (i.e. acculturation and social support) factors.
