Elucidating the Link Between Religiosity and Prosociality

We examined several variables related to personality, empathy, affect, and age to better understand religious prosociality. The goal was to elucidate the link between religiosity and prosociality, while controlling for factors that influence prosocial tendencies. Results revealed that religiosity was a significant predictor of self-reported altruism.
