Associations between Negative and Positive Life Events and Psychopathology: Rumination As a Mediator in Early Adolescents

We examined whether the associations between positive and negative life events and depression is mediated by positive and negative affect processes of rumination in early adolescents. Although we found some direct effects between life events and depression and life events and rumination, there was no significant indirect effects through rumination.
