Abstract

This study used a daily diary method to examine prospective relationships between rumination and avoidance strategy use in a clinical sample (N = 129). Rumination was associated with an increased likelihood of using experiential avoidance and a decreased likelihood of using behavioral avoidance and procrastination on the next day.
