PTSD and Substance Use Patterns: A Latent Class Analysis

Abstract
Results from this study indicate that those with current or lifetime dependence to more than one substance were more likely to meet for lifetime PTSD than those with no dependence, or dependence to a single substance. Latent class analyses revealed variability in rates of PTSD, depending upon class membership.
