Perception of Resilience: Importance of the Socio-Ecological Context in Determining What Promotes Resilience

As mental health issues increase on college campuses, understanding what people know about resilience is important. We asked a diverse sample of adults about family, community, school, peers, and personality as resilience-building factors. Results showed group differences indicating the need for a focus on the social ecology of target audiences.
