Abstract
A sample of emerging adults (age 18-29) was used to evaluate the patterns of relationship between trauma, social relationships, emotion regulation and depressive symptomatology. Findings indicate emotion regulation strategies accounted for more variance in depressive symptomatology above and beyond traumatic events and social relationships.
