Examining an Intervention to Promote Mental Health Help-Seeking in Undergraduates

Students needing mental health treatment do not always seek help from professionals. Attempting to promote help-seeking attitudes and behaviors, we developed a help-seeking intervention utilizing mental health literacy and destigmatization techniques and framed it using the Health Belief Model. Findings are compared to a control condition receiving time management skills.
