Abstract

Participants (N = 265) reported retrospectively on experiences of harsh and positive parenting, and we measured their resting skin conductance levels (SCL). Regression analyses revealed that the 3-way interaction between SCL, positive, and harsh parenting significantly accounted for anger and verbal aggression. Results support the biological sensitivity to context model.
