Abstract
Leaders impact workplace aggression by shaping followers’ moral perceptions of unethical behavior. This research details this process by illustrating how ethical and abusive leaders alter followers’ moral judgements of interpersonal aggressive behavior (harassment, fighting) which then impact instances of enacted aggression. Results reveal contrasting effects of ethical and abusive leaders.
