Abstract
We compared how young and older adults’ self-reported memory self-efficacy relates to humility, depression, and item framing. Depression related more broadly to MSE than suggested by past research, and we discovered that humility also affects memory self-reports in young, but not older adults, with this effect depending on item framing.
