Abstract
Measures of social cognition were administered to 102 French-speaking Quebec adults. Subjects were divided in three age groups: 18-35 (n=40), 36-60 (n=28) and 61-85 (n=34). Significant differences between age groups were found in emotion recognition, theory of mind, and in the attribution of hostile intentions in ambiguous situations.
