Abstract
This study examined whether the relationship between perceived stress and somatic symptoms during adolescence changes depending on levels of emotional reactivity. 1,286 adolescents (Mage=12.75) participated across two time points. There was a significant interaction effect, such that when emotional reactivity was high, perceived stress was positively associated with somatic symptoms.
