Abstract
Microagressions, subtle racist and sexist behaviors, persist in the US. Racial and gender minorities are likely to experience microaggression in undergraduate STEM programs due to their low retention these programs. Guided by the theory of intersectionality, this study explored how female engineering undergraduates experienced microaggressions in engineering education.
