Abstract
Effects on performance of test administration order and instruction variations are understudied. We report that semantic verbal fluency performance (word output, clustering, and switching) is influenced interactively by instructional set (cue versus no cue to prime semantic organization) and administration order vis-a-vis the California Verbal Learning Test-II.
