Developing Metacognition Using the Rose and Thorn Activity

In an effort to help improve students’ metacognition, this project used the “rose and thorn” activity, as it is designed to help students think about what they learned and areas where they need additional support. Overall, students self-reported that the activity helped them monitor their learning.
