Abstract
Bipolar disorder and schizophrenia differ in their pattern of neurocognitive performance, suggesting differences in functional impairment between the illness groups. We examined this matter using a performance-based task (the University of California, San Diego Performance-Based Skills Assessment). Distinct functional capacity profiles in both illness groups were identified using cluster analysis.
