Who Anticipates Working Longer? Applying the Job Demands-Resources Model to Predict Retirement Intentions

We found relationships between perceived work ability and both job demands and job resources. We also found a relationship between perceived work ability and retirement intentions, supporting the use of the job demands-resources model to predict retirement intentions. This relationship became stronger when wealth, health, and age were partialled out.
