The Influence of Context on Attentional Control in the Lexical Decision Task

We conducted two experiments to examine the influence of lexical context on attentional control in the lexical decision task. We found that when paring words and orthographically illegal nonwords, the low-load of the task would cause one to become sensitive to distractors but without interfering with accessing word frequency information.
