Abstract
The current research evaluated five psychological barriers to performing pro-environmental behavior (PEB) and found that lacking knowledge about which PEB was most effective in specific situations was the greatest barrier to performing behaviors that help the environment. This information is important for psychological scientists to help with the climate crisis.
