A Daily Diary Examination of the Alcohol-Aggression Association and Trait Aggression

Using a daily diary design, we found that college students showed higher aggression on days characterized by greater alcohol use, if they drank more overall and if they were higher on trait aggression. In addition, the association between daily alcohol use and aggression was stronger for women and heavier drinkers.
