Abstract
This study replicates Boothby, Cooney, Sandstrom and Clark’s (2018) "Liking Gap" effect in which individuals, following a brief conversation with a stranger underestimated how much the other person liked them. Among freshman college students, the Liking Gap was significantly larger for Women than for men.
