Abstract
The Perfectionism Social Disconnection Model posits that the perfectionism-psychopathology link is mediated by interpersonal dysfunction. However, the specific interpersonal mechanisms underlying the relation of perfectionism with depression remain unclear. This study found specificity for the mediating effects of social hopelessness, loneliness, and social provisions across dimensions of perfectionism.
