My Religion Makes Me Special: Religious Defensiveness Differs By Religious Affiliation

Abstract
Participants from the United States and India completed measures of attachment to God, father, and mother; were exposed (or not) to a religious threat; and completed a measure of defensive theology. Results indicate that individuals who identified as Christian reported the highest levels of defensive theology following the religious threat.
