The Impact of Being Ignored on Self-Perceived Relational Value

Abstract
The present study uncovered some new findings regarding self-perceived relational value. Existing research has indicated that relational value decreases with the experience of rejection; however, not only does rejection negatively impact one’s perceived relational value, but a sense of being ignored leads to decreased perceived relational value.
