Abstract
We examined relationships among nurses’ stress, job distress, job satisfaction, and mood and the correlations between these factors and patient outcomes in nursing homes. Our results document strong relationships between nurses’ job-related perceptions and patient outcomes, which suggests that improving either of these factors may positively affect nursing home environments.
